Shortstuff started producing in 2003 when University friend Brackles lent him a copy of Fruity Loops. After installing it on his computer, the pair started writing music together, bouncing ideas and influences off each other. The first track they finished, 'Broken Harp', recently released on Pollen Records, was picked up by Appleblim and Geoim and marked the beginning of their rise to prominence. Since then, Shortstuff's productions have featured on labels like Berkane Sol, Planet Mu and Ramp Records, getting support from the likes of Diplo,
Sinden, Ramadanman and Mary Anne Hobbs. An impressive set of performance bookings has followed, including sets at Fabric and WhyNot? in London.

With several more releases planned this year and having also developed his own 'Blunted Robots' imprint with Brackles , Shortstuff is fastly developing into the producer he was widely tipped to be and is set to make serious waves across the scene.
